Service Opportunity during Spring Conference

Good afternoon  everyone.   I wanted to let you know we have another service opportunity with NACU (Nurse Advocacy Center for the Underserved) with Northern Kentucky University.  We have supported them at past conferences. The center has a proven record of reducing health disparities by improving the health of vulnerable populations,  collaborating with community partners to identify needs, and providing service-learning opportunities for students while addressing the challenges of healthcare to the underserved community.  NACU's webpage is: https://www.nku.edu/academics/chhs/institutes/nacu.html.  Their needs list is added to this post.  They are also doing a spring donation drive collecting feminine hygiene products and razors and and shaving cream for men.  A collection box will be set up at the registration desk for in-person attendees.  Those who are attending virtually and would like to make a cash donation can contact Dr. Hunter at Hunterj10@nku.edu.  Please post on your units to encourage colleagues to participate.
