Position Description

Immediate need for a talented RN- Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a 03+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Cincinnati, OH (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift: 07:00 AM-05:30 PM
  • 10hrs shift (4*10)
  • Type: Onsite
  • Cardiac Cath Lab:
  • The Cardiac Cath Lab is a fast-paced environment that utilizes the newest technology to treat adult cardiovascular disease.
  • We also participate in many research trials including pre-market release of new technology.
  • Besides coronary artery disease and percutaneous interventions there are specialized programs such as CLI (chronic limb ischemia) that prevent loss of limb due to vascular disease and CTO (chronic total occlusions) that improve quality of life for those with angina.
  • We have a structural heart program that treats the valves and structures within the heart led by a team of physicians with advanced expertise and knowledge of the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Nurses work side by side with this team as a circulator, scrub nurse or monitoring nurse.
  • There are always opportunities to learn as technology evolves working along a great team of Radiologic Technologists and Cardiologists.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; BLS, ACLS, RN license
  • The RN demonstrates the knowledge, abilities, and skills to provide age and culturally specific patient care and education.
  • The RN effectively communicates with peers, utilizes appropriate channels of communication and maintains absolute confidentiality.
  • The RN maintains competence and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth.
  • The RN demonstrates the ability to accept and implement change and the ability to work in a culturally diverse setting.
  • Required Education:-Diploma of Nursing.
  • Preferred Education:BSN.
  • Required Certifications & Licensure:
  • Ohio RN License or Compact.
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
  • ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)
  • Experience: 2+years of Cath Lab RN Experience
